Group Supports Project: Co-Designers Needed!
Seeking People to Participate in Peer Support Group Co-Design!
An exciting new project is about to start at CoMHWA!
We are looking for expressions of interest from people with lived experience of mental distress who would like to be part of the team co-designing a new Peer Support Group Program. We’re particularly keen to hear from folks who attend (or are interested in attending) peer support groups, and people who facilitate or coordinate peer support groups.
The co-design team will meet for four x 6 hour in-person sessions on Thursdays over the next few months. We are aiming for a team of 10-15 people from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. You will be reimbursed for your participation and morning tea and lunch will be provided.
We particularly welcome Expressions of Interest from people from First Nations or Migrant backgrounds. We will be taking a number of steps to ensure accessibility and cultural safety for all participants (more info in the participant info sheet).
