Consumer Advised Systemic Advocacy Meeting (CASAM)
Statewide lived experience leadership
CASAM brings together experienced consumer representatives and advocates to identify emerging systemic issues and guide CoMHWA’s advocacy priorities.
CASAM meets monthly to discuss contemporary issues, provide input into systemic advocacy work, and help ensure consumer rights are represented through the lens of lived experience.

Peer-led, Regionally Informed Systemic Advocacy Meetings (PRISAM)
Regional voices driving change
PRISAM gives regional CoMHWA members a direct way to work with the systemic advocacy team on issues affecting people outside the metropolitan area.
Members discuss systemic issues in regional communities and identify opportunities to advocate for change.

NDIS Reference Group
Pressing for meaningful NDIS psychosocial disability supports
The NDIS Reference group comprises CoMHWA members who are NDIS participants receiving support for psychosocial disability.
Members discuss issues affecting the experiences of NDIS participants receiving support for psychosocial disability and advocate for NDIS reform that meets their needs.

WA National Policy Consumer Advisory Group
Bringing WA voices to national reform
CoMHWA facilitates the WA National Policy Consumer Advisory Group as part of its role with the National Mental Health Consumer Alliance.
The group ensures Western Australian lived experience perspectives inform national mental health policy development, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Rural and Remote Affinity Group
Rural and remote perspectives informing national priorities
CoMHWA facilitates the Rural and Remote Affinity Group for the National Mental Health Consumer Alliance.
The group ensures the perspectives of consumers living in regional, rural, and remote locations inform national mental health policy and advocacy.
