Group Supports Project

Co-designing free peer support groups for individuals living with mental health challenges.

In 2023, many mental health support groups were de-funded, leaving people with ongoing mental health challenges limited options for free and ongoing support.

As part of CoMHWA’s extended funding from the WA Mental Health Commission, this project will aim to develop free Peer-led, mental health support groups to improve mental and physical wellbeing, connection and a sense of belonging for individuals living with mental health challenges.

This project is currently in the development phase and is being co-designed by CoMHWA staff and individuals with a lived experience of mental health challenges.
