Have your say: group supports survey
CoMHWA is currently in the process of co-designing a new Peer Support Group Program, with pilot peer support groups intended to start early next year.
The results of this 5 to 10-minute online survey will help inform our co-design process and pilot group development.
Who is this survey for?
This survey is for people who:
- live in Western Australia
- have a lived experience of mental health challenges or distress
- are potentially interested in attending a new peer support group and/or;
- have previous experience participating in/facilitating peer support groups.
What will you be asked in the survey?
In particular we want to know your ideas about:
- What you think are the most important elements of Peer Support Groups
- What you feel makes a peer support group welcoming and safe
- What we should NAME the new peer support group program
- The locations of people who are interested in joining a group – so we can try to locate the pilot groups in areas where we know there are people keen.*
- The preferred time/day of a group for people who are interested.
If you are interested in participating, you can find the survey link here.
This survey will close to responses at midnight on Wed 18th September 2024.
*Please keep in mind due to project limitations, initial pilot groups will be limited to the Perth metro area. However, responses from people who live regionally are still very much valued and your input may inform the development of later groups.
