CoMHWA’s 20 Year Celebration

Help us mark 20 years of incorporation!
Did you know we have not always been known as Consumers of Mental Health WA? Our origins come from a committed group of people who would meet around a table, coming together with a shared vision of hope. In 2005, we were registered as an Incorporated Association; WAMIAC (WA Mental Illness Advisory Council).
The rest is history!
We invite you to celebrate with us; whether you’ve been a member for 20 years or 2 months, we’d love to have you come along and reflect on the great work our organisation has achieved over the years.
Light refreshments will be supplied; please ensure you include any dietary requirements when selecting your ticket.
Date and time: Thursday, August 14, 5 – 8pm AWST
Location: Beaumonde On The Point, 306 Riverside Drive East Perth, WA 6004
Getting there:
Parking is available at Beaumonde on the Point through CPP (first hour is free with a ticket, then $4 per hour thereafter).
Catch the number 24 bus from the city for free, or visit the Transperth website to plan your journey.
Please note that as this event is at a licensed venue, it is an 18+ event. We understand considerations around alcohol misuse, harms, and concerns within the Peer Workforce community, so non-alcoholic options are available, and there is no pressure or expectation to consume alcohol if it is not safe or comfortable or you to do so.
