Our Team

Bridget

Bridget – she/her

Bridget is the Project Manager of My Voice, My Rights, My Way, working to strengthen self-advocacy in the mental health system.

Her career started in communications and public relations but soon transitioned into tertiary and education where she supported researchers and health consumers, ensuring lived experience voices are part of health research.

Bridget is passionate about bringing people together for a shared purpose and creating the right communication bridges to make that happen.

Elena

Elena – she/her

Elena migrated to Perth over 10 years ago and transitioned from a career in Public Relations and Event Management to the not-for-profit sector. She has been working at CoMHWA for the last 3 years, across multiple projects and in different capacity.

Elena’s practice is shaped by her Lived Experience Expertise, peer values and drive to create meaningful and lasting changes.

Currently, Elena oversees stakeholder relationships, all operational aspect of My Voice workshop delivery and the team of facilitators.

Danyelle

Danyelle – she/her

Danyelle is a project officer on the My Voice, My Rights, My Way project.

Dany brings experience facilitating workshops across a range of community settings, predominantly in the family and domestic violence sector. Her work is grounded in person-centred practice and embodies a commitment to self-determination.

She prioritises creating spaces where people feel supported to build their confidence and strengthen their sense of agency by being responsive and collaborative in her approach to facilitation.

She also has a strong creative side and is a passionate advocate for the role of the arts in wellbeing.

Rachael

Rachael – she/her

Rachael is a lived experience advocate across mental health, disability, and youth sectors. As a member of diverse and intersectional communities, she is committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and self-determination.

Her work spans journalism, workshop design and facilitation, public speaking, steering groups/councils/committees and more. She is the founder of Integrity Initiative, a mental health movement grounded in her core values of autonomy, dignity, and human rights.

In her role as a My Voice, My Rights, My Way Project Officer, Rachael brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her facilitation, ensuring approaches that are inclusive, responsive, and community-informed.

Arana

Arana – she/them

Arana is a Project Officer and Facilitator in the My Voice, My Rights, My Way project.

She holds a double major Bachelor of Arts in History / Political Science & International Relations and has a background in journalism and aged care consultancy.

Arana draws from her lived experience of Autism and ADHD, as well as her AOD healing journey, to make each workshop experience warm, friendly, and respectful of diverse lived experiences.

Jeannie

Jeannie – she/her

Jeannie is a transgender woman, advocate, and community leader with a background spanning more than 35 years in technology, disability and mental health.

She brings both professional experience and lived experience to her work, with a strong focus on inclusion, reducing stigma, and helping build services that genuinely listen to the communities they support.

Jeannie’s passion for community and inclusion extends to setting up and running a not-for-profit organisation supporting LGBTIQA+SB people called ‘Pride in Swan’.

Annabel

Annabel – she/her

Annabel is a My Voice, My Rights, My Way Facilitator. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies and a Bachelor of Education.

Drawing on her lived and living experiences of mental health challenges, autism, ADHD and PTSD, Annabel is committed to ensuring people feel informed, confident, and supported to exercise their rights.

Annabel has a background in education and previously worked at the Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN).
