OurVoice4Change
‘OurVoice4Change' is a new CoMHWA project to support consumers to share their journeys of courage, resilience and recovery from mental health issues.OurVoice4Change will support positive discussions on mental health and well being in the workplace and community, dispel myths surrounding mental health challenges, and improve the quality of WA health services by providing a positive and effective consumer voice.For the consumers who will be sharing their journeys there is peer support, opportunities for social inclusion, development of new skills and training opportunities.OurVoice4Change will help community members feel confident that people can and do live fulfilling and contributing lives. It will also empower people with the confidence to speak up about their mental health and their recovery journey.OurVoice4Change is a powerful means of raising awareness, reducing stigma and encouraging people to take action.CoMHWA acknowledges the support of Lotterywest for OurVoice4Change.Please click here to read more about our current and completed projects.
