Deadline to opt-out of My Health Record extended to 31st Jan 2019

Australians have been given an extra 2 months to decide if they want a My Health Record.

The day before the opt-out period was due to close, an announcement was made of the new extension until 31st January 2019.Labor tried to pass a 12-month extension, but the crossbench would only agree to a shorter delay before millions of Australians are automatically signed up for a digital health profile.You can read more here, on SBS News.CoMHWA strongly urges Australians to not leave it to the last few days to make an informed decision about keeping an online record or opting out.
