Cert IV Mental Health Peer Work - Additional Information!
Below, we have some additional information for those thinking of applying for the Cert IV Mental Health Peer Work Scholarship...
Scholarships are offered to people with a lived experience of mental or emotional distress or issues (individual, carer or family experience) who are seeking to enter the Peer Workforce or are currently working in a Peer Workforce role.Since releasing the information regarding our Cert IV Mental Health Peer Work Scholarships, we’ve had a lot of interest and questions. One of the frequently asked questions is around VET FEE-HELP. The current VET FEE-HELP system is changing in 2017 and will be renamed VET Student Loans. Following a trial of VET FEE-Help for Cert IV, it has been decided federally that this will only be available for some Diploma courses or above. Students have access to a payment plan option for their course costs to assist with course payment. For further information, you can visit the following websites:https://central.wa.edu.au/fees/Pages/Financial-assistance.aspxhttps://www.education.gov.au/vet-fee-help-reformshttps://docs.education.gov.au/documents/vet-student-loans-approved-course-listDon’t forget our Information Night is NEXT WEEK on Tuesday 6th December at 5.30pm in City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street West Perth! There are still some spaces available; please call the office on 9258 8911 or email admin@comhwa.org.au if you would like to attend.
